2010 NABI Chicago "Robinson Award" Competition

In 2010, points will be earned as follows:

• 200 points for each tournament bowled
• 50 points for each game bowled
• 1 point for each prize dollar won
• .25 points for each optional dollar won
• 400 points for each new recruit (earned after they bowl their 2nd tournament)
• 100 points for each additional tournament your recruit bowls during the year
• 250 points for each finals made or top 3 finish.
• Members will lose 250 points each time they are fined for dress code or behavior infractions.
• THESE POINTS ARE DOUBLED FOR ALL TOURNAMENTS HELD AFTER NABI WEEK.
• BONUS POINTS MAY BE EARNED AT SPECIAL EVENTS AS ADVERTISED.

Members that are suspended during the year will not be eligible for this competition. To maintain eligibility, members must keep their membership in active status (bowl at least once every 90 days) and pay their 2011 membership dues no later than 12/19/2010.

Recruiting will be STRICTLY monitored. If a recruit does not specifically list you as their recruiter when they submit their application - you WILL NOT earn points for that recruit. If I find that you try to have someone you did not actually recruit list you on their application, you will be ineligible for any recruiting points in this competition. We will no longer tolerate the practice of "hawking" for recruits at our tournament sites, or "giving" recruits to friends that need the points more than you.

The top 10% (min. of 30) of the active membership will be eligible for this year's Robinson Shootout, held at our Year End Championships. Any 2010 local Champions that do not make that list, will also receive invites. Members that finish in the top 10 (including at least one lady), will earn bonus pins added to their handicap for the shootout & Year End Round 1 qualifying & semifinal rounds. The member that finishes #1 in the standings will receive 30 bonus pins, and that amount will decrease by 3 for each place through 10th. Robinson bonus pins will not be used in Round 2 or in the finals of the Year End Championships. Top 10 finishers will no longer "Automatically" make the cut for the Year End Championships and must pay for and enter the 1st squad of the Year End Championships to be eligible for the extra Robinson Shoot-Out prize list.

Prizes valued at a minimum of $1,000.00 will be given out for the Robinson Shoot-out side event. This side event will be free for the top 10 in the final standings for the year, and offered as a $20 side event to others that earned invitations. The special Robinson Shoot-Out squad will be held during the 1st qualifying squad of the Year End Championships to be held on New Years Day - 1/1/2011.
